Hello friends,

I am Indian CA working as finance executive in Dubai. Can anyone here tell me how to apply for visa. i have work experience of 3 years excluding my apprenticeship. any kind of help will be appreciated.

any Indian CA from canada here?

Hi,

Request some assistance here:
1. I am a qualified CA from India working in service industry. I don't have a COP as I am interested in job and not in practicing as a CA.

2. I have completed my CPA from Colorado State Board, US and not having a CPA license.

Thus, to work in Canada in service industry on a PR, do I require to meet some eligibility criteria or just being a CA and CPA with no license is enough to work in service industry.

Please guide.

THANKYOU for all the info.

I just want to know one thing I just completed my C.A in India.
Now I want to become a c.a in ontario through mutual recognition.

What is the exemption I am likely to get from practical training, (i just did the normal work of an article in a medium size firm)

It means practical experience exemption is not given in general to all ICAI members but it will depends upon case to case by taking into account his pre and post qualification experience as ICAI member.

I guess membership of CICA without practical accounting license would not be of any use and getting license is tedious task as we need to write and pass CKE and other exams if we didnot pass earlier for completing UFE. Moreover fee structure is not given (at least i have not seen)

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has reciprocity with Ontario CA and based on certain factors you are either required to write UFE or CARE only to become a Canadian CA. More information are available here http://www.icao.on.ca/Admissions/InternationallyTrainedAccountants/MemberSpecifiedAcctgBody/1010page13696.aspx

Is there any difference in membership allotted to overseas students who successfully completes UFE and the one who completes CARE? i.e. either of the two will be fine?
