It means practical experience exemption is not given in general to all ICAI members but it will depends upon case to case by taking into account his pre and post qualification experience as ICAI member.
I guess membership of CICA without practical accounting license would not be of any use and getting license is tedious task as we need to write and pass CKE and other exams if we didnot pass earlier for completing UFE. Moreover fee structure is not given (at least i have not seen)
I think we should write mails to ICAI chapter Toronto for some clarifications and help. I have mailed them but they did not respond yet.Anybody can get e-mail IDs from this link
