Thanks..Good luck, I feel this must be some misunderstanding/mis-communication. I hope things resolve quickly for you at RPO.
If you have stayed in current address from last 10 years then it is fine.. otherwise you need to get it from all the place's SSP.I took PCC from SSP office .....they gave me PCC in 7 days from the date I applied.
Awesome! These days they don't stamp the PCC I believe. Only give you the document. Correct?Thanks..
Today I got the PCC from RPO.
The reason police report was not clear is because I have spent less than an year in the current address.
You need to get Police verification done for older address also or if the address is of foreign country like in my case, you need to show the entry stamp on the passport and PCC from that country.
I showed the both and attached to the file at RPO.
Got it within an hour.
Regards,
Yup.... I have stayed my whole life in Punjab ....education and work also here ......I think I would be fineIf you have stayed in current address from last 10 years then it is fine.. otherwise you need to get it from all the place's SSP.

When i asked for it, the officer said, " the passport is NOT stamped anymore for pcc" .
Is that ok as such ?? please reply
Not last 10 years but since you turned 18 years old. Many people get confused with this. PCC is required since your 18th Birthday. If you have stayed in current address from last 10 years then it is fine.. otherwise you need to get it from all the place's SSP.
