India PCC from Toronto

This is not giving me the status of the application in the regional PSK . The regional PSK (i.e portal 1 and portal 2) is telling that they don't have any details of my case number in their system . However , If I check in the portal4 it tells me that "PCC application has been granted.Police Verification has been initiated. After the police verification report is received, PCC will be available for issuance."
Can anyone kindly help me with a way that I can track the application in the regional PSK portal itself?

From September 10, All tracking mechanism are shifted to portal4 for embassy/consulate applications. Your status will be changed to pcc has been printed , probably tomorrow. You will receive it in few days. All the best

Thanks, everyone, this channel is really helpful. There are lots of uncertainty about the PCC, just sharing my PCC timeline and experience here -

I applied through BLS Postal Service-
Aug 21 - Sent PCC Application to BLS
Aug 24 - BLS asked for some additional documents
Aug 25 - Sent the additional documents
Aug 28 - Got an email for Police Verification
Sep 3 - Police Verification is done
Sep 25 - PCC got printed
Set 29 - BLS sent it via Purolator
Sep 30 - Delivered it to me

From Day 1 to Sept 25 my PCC application status was 'under review' on Portal4(https://portal4.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html)
India's PSK site doesn't show the status as we have applied through Consular/HCI and that is why it gives error 'File Entered doesn't exist in the system'.

And like everyone I was also worried about my PCC and had sent multiple emails but didn't get any reply yet. Also, one day I had a lengthy discussion with CSR for the portal not showing up the individual statuses, he just said that the technical team needs to make the changes to show the individual procedure status.

In our case my passport had the same address that i had mentioned in the pcc document which is our house. In my wife's case, her passport address was different than what she had mentioned in the pcc document.
So police asked my relative to submit our marriage certificate and electricity bill of our house in india which had my wife's name on it.

Thanks. It was nightmare in my case...they were asked to submit for all the marksheets, certificates, admits, DOB, PAN, Passport, Aadhaar, Voter ID and many more. This process is not well defined and different police stations are asking for different docs.

Hello - My name is Shiladitya Chatterjee and I am currently residing in Canada . I have generated my PCC which I will be requiring for my PR application . I spoke to my local police station and local passport office last Thursday and they have confirmed that they have forwarded my file with the clearance to the higher passport office .

Can you kindly let me know where I can check the status of my application or can anyone from your team reply me with the status ?

It would be really helpful if you can provide me the information or redirect me to the right team who can do the needful as I have only 2 weeks of time in my hand to submit my PR application , or otherwise it will be rejected.

I tried to track my application from the below to urls with my case number , but it says that the particular case is not available in the system.

Your assistance is highly appreciated.

I would say submit your application without PCC. IRCC will provide another 90 days for the missing documents due to COVID-19 and they won't reject any application due to missing documents. You can provide your PCC when they request for it and by your own when you have it using webform. Please check from your end. Hope this will help.

I have applied for me and my husband's Indian PCC . Both the application were sent in the same Puralator package . Mine is updated that it is sent for processing but for my husband they said nothing is received or updated . Did anyone faced the same issue. It is sent to BLS vancouver .

1. When you applied for addition of spouse name,police verification happened in Indi at local police station??
2. In how many days did you got your new passport back?

1. yes, It happened in India at local police station.
2. Since I applied for Tatkal I got it in one week.

I think consulate processes applications in batch. May be once in a week they send all printed applications to bls. What is your status on bls india website?

Application date: 10th September 2020
Location: Brampton BLS
Status:
10th September 2020 - under process from BLS center to consulate General
11th September 2020 - Processing at consulate General
16th September 2020 - received Police verification Email - verification is done on the same day at the local police station
28th September 2020 - In transmit from consulate General to BLS center
28th September 2020 - shipped - Got Puralot tracking
29th September 2020 - received a courier

Total: 20 days

28 Sept: Walkin Application at BLS Toronto
29 Sept: Processing at CGI
30 Sept: File number starting with CAT generated in portal4
2 Oct: Police verification initiation email and done verification on same day
Still nothing shows up in portal1 or portal2.

Yes you may put your parent's number. Police will call them and they need to visit the police station with your documents (copy)
Passport, visa, aadhaar should be good enough

Pincode not found in drop down list box of PCC application

Hi everyone. When I am trying to fill pincode of my permanent address in India I could not find it in the list. The permanent address is the same as in the passport. And it is from one of the major cities in India. Has anyone faced similar situation. How to fill the application and get the PCC? Is there an option for walkin now to help with such special issues?

My Timeline with BLS located in Lawrence Ave E
1. Made an appointment at https://www.blsindia-canada.com/bookappointment.php a week before actual appointment date (Appointment dates are enabled weekly only)
2. Sep 19th
- 9:00 am appointment, reached by public transport (Start - 7:15 am, reached 8:30 am from downtown) - around 15-20 people in queue
- 8:55 am security guard lets you in
- Make sure your name, parents name and address are same as in passport - my first mistake. No more appointment privilege (20 mins)
- Stood in line along with 10 more. Filled my application during this time (9:30 am to 10:00 am)
- Make sure you enter your address details with postal code - my second mistake. Back to the queue (30 mins)
- Again in queue with 15 more. Filled my application again (10:30 am to 11:15 am)
- 3rd time is the charm (15mins). No more queue
3. Sep 21st - Application sent from BLS to Consulate
4. Sep 22nd - Application processing at Consulate
5. Sep 22nd (eve) - Received email from passportindia.gov.in - Police Verification Request has been sent to the police department (CAT**********)
6. Sep 23rd - BLS Website - Processing at Consulate. Passportportal website status - PCC application is under review at Indian Embassy/Consulate.

6.Sep 30th - police verification completed but my application status is still pcc application is under review at Indian embassy/consulate.
