Incomplete Canadian education

Hey everyone,

I am filling the Express Entry Profile and the question regarding education:
I came to Canada on study permit at a university, but the university closed down after 1.5 years and I have no proof whatsoever of my education there (only offer letter)
Do I need to mention this education under "Education history" and list it as Incomplete? or should I leave it?

I applied to another reputed college and completed a course after that (everything was done legally at all times - moved from one study to other etc all was fine) And now am working in Canada so will be applying under CEC.

I know I need to put it in Personal History for sure since it was 1.5 years, and usually based on opinion I believe we do not need to mention anything in Education history if we do not want points for it, but in this case, I came to Canada on the basis of this study permit, so it is in my history with my UCI... so wanted to check if I should include it in Education or not?
And also, should I put a Letter of Explanation in while mentioning it in personal history if not mentioning it in education history.

I think it is fine as long as you mention it in personal history. You have a valid reason. Since it's not completed you don't have to mention it in the education history.

Yes that is what I am hoping for...
I might add a LOE then..

Can anyone confirm that it will be ok that I don't mention it under Education since I do not want to claim points for it.. so should not be misrepresentation... correct??

Hello - I am filling out the final documents for submission..
Can anyone advise if they have ever been in a similar situation by any chance? What can we do about incomplete education? Do we mention it under "Education" or only personal history with a LOE?
