any help on this subject would be greatly appriciated!

me and my partner of two years (common law) are applying through the outland process, i have been on two IEC visas so i have to return to england (and for various reasons outland is the best option for my currently) But i am very worried about my partners income being enough?

he only has earnings of $8,200 in an 12 month period (about $720 a month) i earn three times that, is there any way we can combine or earnings? i have a job offer with my current job i have been at for two years (doesnt qualify for the CEC OR PNP)

if any one has any info or experiance it would be really helpful!

many thanks

There is no minimum income to sponsor your spouse, however you do have to prove that you will not go on welfare. You can indicate your work history and show that you are able and willing to be employed once you get PR.

There is no minimum income requirement for spousal/common-law sponsorship. You and your partner do, however, need to explain to CIC how you will be supporting yourselves. Having a standing job offer from your current employer may help.

Letters from family, offering their support until you can get established is also a good idea, if that's something that's possible for you.

Good luck!

thank you for your fast replies! has put my mind at ease a bit! i can definitley prove that we can support ourselves and have family support, job offers etc!

the only other issue is that its only my name on our rental agreement, just because i lived there first before my boyfriend moved in, we have mail/bills/ and bank transfers showing that he pays me the rent and stuff so i just hope thats enough!

thanks again !
