@ CanadaPR2015, a few things to note:
1. In Canada, one gets registered as P.Eng - P.E is used in the US and some other countries
. Either ways, the abbreviation spells out Professional Engineer, but it might make any google searches or resume entries more relevant.

3. Based on personal experience and feedback from others, Alberta (APEGA) may be a smoother prospect compared to Ontario (PEO). For any other province, a google search may yield more favorable results on other online forums (unless some other forum member provides input here).
4. There are reciprocity agreements in place, so if you get a P.Eng from APEGA, it can be transferred to a P.Eng from PEO.
