I hope Rugrat is right... you've all got me nervous now! :( Finally changed to IP after many months of waiting. I will say though that shortly before I changed to IP, I got an email asking me to pay RPRF and for proof of sponsor's Canadian residence. So it does seem like I'm approaching the end.

I don't think you've got too much to worry about - the fact they're asking for RPRF and proof of intent sounds like yours genuinely is close to DM.

Any new in process people have a line in their ecas that specifies the date they started processing it?
I don't :(

Can you explain where you're seeing "In Process"?
ECAS, of course

Hey guys.
My app went "In process" June 18th 2015 and I got my DM on July 31 2015.

WOOOO! So this might mean that In Process still means something!!

We'll know more once someone whose app went "in process" in August gets their DM.

Unless it's a computer glitch which I highly doubt, I am one to think after 4 months of being at application received to in process it has to mean something. But maybe that is just me being optimistic. I find it funny 3 days after I send my RPRF payment To Ottawa my Ecas shows In Process.

Well, for those of us with "In Process," we will find out within the next few weeks if we follow the traditional pattern and receive DM. Maybe there will be more updates tomorrow. I appreciate your positive vibes, rugrat907!

Somebody got their PPR today (Warsaw VO). There's hope for us after all!

When did he apply? how was PPR sent(mail or email), is PPR always sent in same way or might be either one or other?

So aside from OP posting this thread, where is this whole "in process" paranoia coming from? One person makes a post now everyone with IP is worried? I think some of you are being overly paranoid, what is there to back up the claim that outland 'in process" has changed somehow.

Because it's not normal that many people have got in process after one month from sa. when many people within same VO, are still waiting for many months.it happened to to Tz VO and people were thinking that it's new , so they have a few applications. but it has no sens that people who got their sa in JUly have IP when January app for same VO are still waiting.me too I think that probaly there is an issue.only CIC will clarify this.

There seems to have been a large increase in people reporting seeing IP in ECAS only in the last week or so, and particularly amongst June applicants immediately after they get sponsor approval

It's small numbers so far but it's still noticeable when you look at the 2015 Outland spreadsheet - 'Summary by Date' and the 'ECAS status In Process' column
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FAYZyQgud1lzp7fM28i2O8ZrfbMAxdTc_t7_fiwI6ak/edit#gid=473691045

Virtually no April or May applicants have IP, but 6 out of the 8 June applicants do.

I cant access the spreadsheet, but each VO operates differently I would assume. Are we talking all these June applicants getting IP are in Ottawa or other VO's then that would definitely explain the situation. Last I recall, Ottawa does not classify applications as "IP" when received. They classify them as "Application Received" unless they decided to change procedure within the last month.
