Got "Updated" status in MyCIC during my hourly check (sounds pathetic isn't it). Hope I will get the infamous automated email soon.

Lol. Been doing the same, without luck. Wondering when I will get to see 'updated'. Cic has turned us into maniacs

I agree. My BG check changed in progress to not needed at this time, since they requested documents from me, then after I submitted it moved to in progress again. They might need something or might finished BG for this applicant.

Hi Iceberge, same here. When I was requested to submit the Schedule A last Tue., my background check changed to "no need at this time" from "In progress". After I submitted the document, then it changed back to "In Progress" on this Monday. I received the ghost email said my application has been update 2 hours ago, but I found nothing changed in my CIC account, keep finger crossed.

Hi Iceberge, same here. When I was requested to submit the Schedule A last Tue., my background check changed to "no need at this time" from "In progress". After I submitted the document, then it changed back to "In Progress" on this Monday. If your status not in DM yet, you will find DM in the morning tomorrow. Good luck.

Lolzz its too much panic to check email many time a day. I have done this last week after status changed to DM, now I just gave up. Don't check email or MYCIC more than once a day or twice.

My ecas status has not changed to DM yet.
But my post graduate work permit will be expired on October 25, 2015. Do you guys think that I need to submit the work permit extension right now?
Is the expiring work permit will affect the PR application or not?
Any response will be appreciated.

It will not affect your PR application but you will not be able to work after expire date if you have not received your PR by then.

If it's me I would submit the extension now for peace of mind.

Hi Anya, my ITA is March 27th.

So My situation also conforms to your process by ITA theory.

Although I think it's really process by (ITA,AOR,IP). They all somehow contribute to the timing.

There are already ITA April 10th people getting DM, yours is definitely not far
