I got my second set of GCMS today and last note says

"Incoming provided bulk changes to received given file status at Not Started, correspondence flipped from provided to received as the file as yet to be reviewed in CPC-O".

Anybody has the same note ??

ECAS changed to DM today. There was no request for schedule A. Is this normal? is everyone suppose to get a sch A before DM.

Ok... now a million $ question - Have there been any unexpected surprises (aka negative decision) after DM with that kind of timeline?

I am going to browse through 'DM waiting for PPR' thread to understand next steps.

I would take a bet that your application is approved . I didn't get any add. doc request after Celpip. So expect PPR soon. Have the pics ready .

Thanks A-man for the positivity! I seriously need some . How many days does it take after DM ?

It seems lot of processes with CIC are automated - most changes happen in batch processing.

I received an email from CIC stating that there is an update on my application. I checked then i found the background check changed from "In Progress" to " Background Check Not Needed This Time". Does anyone know what does that refer to?

Not necessarily. I've seen some people on this forum whose background check changed from in progress to not needed at this time and they received their PPR's.

For example this member PJR3055 had his background check change from in progress to not needed at this time and he has received his PPR. Check his correspondence history.

I agree. My BG check changed in progress to not needed at this time, since they requested documents from me, then after I submitted it moved to in progress again. They might need something or might finished BG for this applicant.

Got "Updated" status in MyCIC during my hourly check (sounds pathetic isn't it). Hope I will get the infamous automated email soon.

Am I the only 27th March ITA candidate who hasn't received atleast DM yet? Its very frustrating. My ECAS changed to In process on 15th Aug.

My ITA is from March 27th as well. Difference is: I'm an outland applicant with family and my ECAS changed to In Process only on Sept 3. Hang in there!
