There are 2 clear 'In Process' at work. The first step for ECAS (before Medicals pass) used to be 'In Progress' and now that seems to be termed 'In Process'.Caimi said:May AOR... another In Process on Aug 14!
Seniors, any idea what is happening here ? I believe many AORs from Apr-Aug going to "In Process" on a single day.
This looks like some kind of Application status adjustment rather than any real application progress (I would be glad if I am wrong here).
So what next ?
The second 'In Process' most likely means that you have cleared eligibility for the program you have applied under. Expect background checks to continue and possibly some Schedule A request (if required) or RPRF payment request (if you did not pay in advance) or nothing at all till PPR.Caimi said:Thanks Asivad Anac! Hats off to your support
I am referring to the later stage where medical is passed. I believe there are quite a few applicants with varying AOR dates (spread over months) that all went into In Process on Aug 13/14. What does this indicate ? Is it some kind of 'Application status' adjustment or actual application movement.
Is the Background check still in progress or done? What is logical next and in what timeframe ?
Schedule A means they have some questions. This can be a good thing, or a bad thing. When we got a schedule A, it meant an agent was working on our application. PPR came two days later.hotshot007 said:By the way would being asked schedule A or travel history early in the process good sign of application progression or would mean nothing? When have others been asked schedule A. Is it a later in the process document or people have been asked earlier before ecas turned to application received and then in process.
For outlanders, the BG check changes to in progress on the day of or day before PPR. So gear up for PPR by Monday... if CIC is still doing things the same as a few weeks ago.Singalingali said:I'm from the June 19 batch outland. I got asked for travel history on August 4. My background check changed to In Progress today. I just wonder what this means. Did any outland applicant get PPR last week?
