Please help me ti solve this issue regarding PR status.

I landed on 7/2010 but for family issues I left Canada on 8/2010

Now they sent a letter to my old apartment address regarding the PR card photographs problem.

Basically it says I will have to go to their office in Toronto along with the photographs in next 180 days.

My question is:
What if I ignore the letter and stayed out of Canada till 7/2013 (I landed on 7/2010). Can I apply for Temporary Travel Document? is it risky? is there any suggestions please?

Why would anyone even seriously contemplate doing something like this??? After all of the hassles, the expenses, and the worrying and waiting that comes with a submission of a PR application, and then actaully being APPROVED for the holy grail of PR, how can someone voluntarily put themselves in a position that leaves them absolutely ZERO wiggle room in the event of unforeseen events? You land and then immediately leave again in 7/2010, with an aim of returning to Canada in 7/2013, leaving EXACTLY the two years necessary to fulfill your PR obligations within the 5 year period! What happens if during those two years there is suddenly an emergency? A death or serious illness in the family maybe, or a need to travel out-of-country for some other reason. AT that point, even absenting yourself from Canada for one or two WEEKS would have result in making your PR residency obligations IMPOSSIBLE to meet, and could have disastrous implications for your (and possibly your family's) future. For crying out loud, at least give yourself a cushion of a few months (6 months to a year would be even better)!

Thank you for your response. The truth that I'm 37 years old now and I got divorced on 5/2009. I landed on 7/2010 but I went back to my home country because I didn't find a good job during 7/2010 at that time frame. Then on 8/2010 I went back and now 12/2010 I just got engaged So I'm getting married within the few coming month but I can't sponsorship my spouse to be PR in Canada. On the other hand, I've some private family obligation and one housing mortgage related to the marriage plan.
So what can I do? the only easy thing is to change the returning to Canada date from 7/2013 to 3/2013.
I read that to sponsor spouse I must be physically working in Canada and the application may take up to 1 year to complete...So its complicated, do you have any other ideas or suggestions please?

You need to provide a primary document to apply for a Social Insurance Number (SIN), replace your card or amend your SIN record (e.g. a name change).

A primary document is an official document that proves your identity and status in Canada. We need to see an original of your primary document. If the name on this document is different from the name you currently use, you will also need to provide a supporting document.
