lol ;)

Nicely explained. Answer to your 2nd question: you dont need to stick/staple your photograph on the application.
You need to take a 6x Photographs of each applicant (if applicable, like spouse, dependant children), put in an envelope, seal the envelope & staple it with your application.

Note that: one back side of each photograph, you need to mention the name of applicant, DoB, Eye Color & height. These information can be found in the instruction guide as well as Visa Specific Document.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Shadab

Hi Manshriram

For Immigration purpose your family means...... you + spouse + dependent children + children of dependent children.... That's all. Remaining all your family members will come under 'Additional Family Information' Form # IMM 5406E. In simple terms, if you are not married and are planning to immigrate...then you alone can apply. Rest of the family members have to apply separately (like you.... NOC + IELTS.... etc.) or you have to sponsor them (after you settle in Canada -that is totally a different procedure). I hope you understood. Please go through the Instruction Guide - EG7000
BTW, name is Shadab and not Shabad

Cheers, Anil

Point of clarification
The PCC is no longer required in the submission to CIO
it will be requested at a later date

So we should not let the PCC stop us from sending off our application

In particular those of us in the High Risk NOC of 1122.

Good Luck everyone

Thanks Shadab and I apolize for misspelling...Thnx Anil.

Hi Friends,

Got a query,

My application under 3152 has been recieved by CIC Canada on Aug 5th 2010, I have given my communication address in Bangalore as we were staying in the same rented house in Bangalore for past 5 years. Now my hubby has got a new job in another city and is in a thinking to shift from Bangalore. I wanted to know if it is okay to change the address / city while my Canadian visa application is in process ( considering the fact that I still havent recieved AOR , and my hubby's passport has got the current address in Bangalore).

Kindly reply

Regards
Bindu

I would request you to wait to get the AOR first and then update your file.
Let the other seniors also reply...

Dear Bindu

If there is no other choice.... then nothing wrong in shifting to a new place..... assuming that there IS somebody to take care of the posts (I hope you can trust the house owner) ;D ;D
Moreover...... the maximum chance of receiving the AOR will be through email... ..... but in case anything comes via post, you have to be informed. Also, you have to take care of your bank details that you have provided ...don't close your bank account (and let the funds remain as it is, in case if you have shown the same as PoF).
After you get the AOR ..... and the file has been shifted to VO (New Delhi), you can think of informing the change in present address (to VO).
These are purely my views and suggestions..... you (& your family members) have to decide.
Cheers, Anil

Hi All

HI All

All Registered Nurses are welcome to join the new thread started for Registerd Nurses filed or planning to apply post june 2010

I think this might help us get a rough idea if they are working on files based on NOCs

Dear Nurses please let us join for a common reason

Hi,

First of all welcome to this thread... and then congratulations for sending your application :)
Your application may reach there in 4 days to 1 month time (depends upon the type of Mail/Courier you opted for).

Then you need to wait for your AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from the CIC, Sydeny, NS. If your application is accepted, your money will be encashed (depends how you have sent - BD/CC/Cheque). Here you completed the 1st level. :)

After that your application will be transferred to the local VO (visa office - you opted for... e.g. New Delhi). And again you need to wait for your next AOR from i.e. from VO.

Once your VO is determined that your application is good to go forward, they may ask you to submit PCC, Landing Fees & Medical..... here you will be completing your 2nd stage :)

The last step would be, when they ask you to submit your passport for visa stamping.... ;D

So, have patience & GOOD LUCK! :D

Hi Jeniya

Welcome to the thread.
I second with Shadab. More or less the procedure will be like this!!! The processing times may vary because of the type of load that CIO is getting daily / weekly / monthly ... 8) 8)...... apart from the regular instructions that they will be getting from immigration authorities .... :o :o .... Basically NOBODY (applicants) knows, how it will go ....and in how many days ....... We all are assuming (and hope it will be like that ;D ;D )

For the information, there is one more tracker specifically for ND applicants........

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?key=0AoMNoUGlfn4mdE55Yml3cmxLd1hCR3RlQmIwenBkQ3c&hl=en&authkey=CNqatbgL

Please visit the Spreadsheet and give details like city, submitted PCC or not, who received your application (at CIO), original / notarized transcripts etc. ........ Kindly give only those details in which you are very comfortable with ....... keeping us up to date with the current status. Thank you & all the best.
Cheers, Anil

Hi Jeniya,

Congratulations, we send my brother’s application (RN) from New Zealand on Oct 4th. Keep me in the loop as we are on same NOC. Glad to know that you are near to us back home, I am originally from Cochin.

thanks
Issac

Hi Shadab and Anil,

Thanks for the quick reply, I can take care of the bank statement and the postal stuff , but my main worry is if the Delhi VO request for Police Clearence (PC) again, should I get it from the new location / city or should I go with the Bangalore PC ?.

I have allready submitted the PC along with the application, also it might be difficult to get a PC from a new location (I think I need to provide atleast 3 months of residence proof to the police), also my another worry is Bangalore police might refuse to give me PC as I'm no longer staying in Bangalore, it is a catch 22 situation . Please advice

Sorry to come up with more queries.

Regards
Bindu
