IELTS submitted along with initial doc.
Can some one help me, I have come through one little confusion while filling Additional Family Information Form, it is written that "this form must be completed by:
You, as the principal applicant
Your spouse
Your dependent children aged 18 or over

I am the principal applicant, now my question is that, when my spouse fills the form what should she write in Section A in front of Applicant column and infront of Spouse column. Should she write my name in Applicant column and her name in Spouse column and signs in Secion D?

Thank You all in advance

I believe what is required for IELTS is General Module.
Exactly.
Just after the CIC required proof of language skills to be submitted to the CIO, there was a short period during when OP6 advised officers to accept the academic version as an alternative. This has since been changed back to only General version of the IELTS being accepted as proof of language.

Software people not in new NOC list ?

Hi Guys,

1) I was gathering the docs to apply for "Systems Manager" Noc code under FSW-1 , but the rules changed on June 26th. In the new NOC list, I do not see any slot for Software people. That means , software professionals cannot apply under FSW-1 anymore . Is that true ?

2) Under the new rule the cap of 1000/NOC applies. This means is it a wise idea to apply in such a manner that your application reaches Sydney on July 1st 2011 ? Is it the right date or count 0 starts earlier ? Although there will be a flurry of applications in July 2011 there will be fair chance that it is accepted . Any comments.

3) Applications send in 2010 (from post june 2010) will be accepted till cap of 1000/NOC is reached. Rest of the applications be returned or kept for processing next year ?

4) Cap of 1000/NOC and returning of application due to that has created big financial burden for people applying for PCC from countries like US. If I apply now and if my application is returned stating 'max cap limit achieved', I can only apply in July 2011 when count starts. But my PCC would have expired by then. Obtaining a PCC from four countries I am supposed to get costed me Rs 40,000. (It includes postal charges, finger printing charges, applicable fees at FBI, US state, telephone calls etc.) And I may have to spend on that again . Is there a way I can tackle this ?

Your valuable suggestions requested for the above points.

Regards

YNET, interesting questions. Regarding number 4, I also have a question - do we have to get repeat PCC for those countries in which we lived, even if we haven't been back to them since the initial PCC was issued. I can understand providing an updated PCC for the country in which we are residing, but the others??? Does anyone know?

People, pls could someone clarify the actual format for providing the travel history?

Travel history list which includes the date of entry/exit for all the countries visited and the routing, Countries of transit must also be listed with entry/exit dates

[Origin - Onward date - Routing - Destination - Return Date], would this format suffice?

Hi Ynet, did you perform any of duties under NOC 1122? you can visit NOC site and see if certain duties were actually performed by you in your 10 year employment history, and that your experience could help you find the job in Canada under this NOC category.

2) Under the new rule the cap of 1000/NOC applies. This means is it a wise idea to apply in such a manner that your application reaches Sydney on July 1st 2011 ? my personal view on this is that once you have your docs, just send them to CIO and figure out if your docs are ok or returned. negative result is also result, and possibly a step towards your success in future. what you do is incur extra $70 on courier on top of already incurred amounts to complete the process

3) Applications send in 2010 (from post june 2010) will be accepted till cap of 1000/NOC is reached. Rest of the applications be returned or kept for processing next year ?
this issue is being discussed on this forum by many senior members, and I could not catch the consensus view yet

4) Cap of 1000/NOC and returning of application due to that has created big financial burden for people applying for PCC from countries like US. If I apply now and if my application is returned stating 'max cap limit achieved', I can only apply in July 2011 when count starts. But my PCC would have expired by then. again, my personal view on PCCs... once you got one, I believe it is easier and faster to get updated one. also, according to the latest instruction guide of July 2010 (issued on 4 August 2010), PCCs are not required for the CIO mailing. one could include a cover letter explaining difference between the instruction guide, OP-6 and visa office (VO) checklist.
