My husband and I have been on an implied status since the end of May, and our CCB was cancelled (our son is Canadian). Our application for an extension has been approved (yay), but when we check our account for upcoming CCB payments, it still says "no upcoming payments". Questions are:
1. Do we need to reapply for the CCB
2. will the payments for the last 2 months of being on implied status be retroactive?

Thanks in advance!

Same question here. I also uploaded scan of new work permit. Do you know how long does it take to get CCB back?

Hello, I'm also wondering if folks have successfully received backpay of CCB once their bridging open work permit was issued after being under implied status. I've submitted my new permit (Jan 2021) and was told our first payment will be in March. Thanks!

This has happened to me a few times. I got backpay for the months I was in implied status and just needed to upload my new work permit to my cra account.
Hello, could you guide how and where to upload it? In Submit doc section it requires some code from CRA support. Should I call them first before doc upload?

Can you tell me when was your last permit expired and what is the issue date in your new permit? I spoke to CRA agent And he told me child benefit depend on the issue date of new permit. As an example my previous permit expired in June 30th and still I didn’t get my new extension yet. If they send me new extension with September as a issue date then I can’t get my July to September child benefit

please reply
