You won't be able to get your passport back until you have PR.

All you have to do is pop into the CBSA office that generated the warrant and they'll be the ones who will help you out.

Okay thanks again. I just don’t wanna get arrested and detained again. I did before for one week and that wasn’t very demure of them but thankfully I got bail and got to sort out my stuff now I’m ready to lift the warrant and start integrating back into society properly.

Although it may seem counterintuitive, I've navigated worse situations and can attest that some matters don't necessitate professional assistance. I'm seeking insight into the CBSA's 'catch and release' procedure for individuals with approval despite having an active warrant. While I have some knowledge, I'd appreciate additional perspectives from those familiar with this process.

It's hard for any of us to answer that question without knowing your full history / profile. Just make sure you haven't skipped any meetings with CBSA or IRCC and attend any meetings if you are asked.

I’ve already passed those stages, never missed any meetings etc but thanks for the advice.

I don't believe I suggested using legal representation for all cases. Just for yours.

I’m 100% not getting one for this matter, I’ll update you when it’s resolved and how I went about it.
