Hi Iceberg7,

i was able to get an answer to my problem regarding my new work permit "young professionals". The reason why didn't get anything is that they apparantly have sent me an email in april to tell me that I will be sent the NEW work permit as soon my current one will expire, because they must not overlap. So, i never got this email, i found out from a friend who has friend who knows somebody way up high, (LOL) and i also don't know what will be written in there exactly. So, i've got all my doc's ready, but nothing to send to Immigration to show them that i have applied already for the new one. I have saved the original application on my disc, yes, but only the completed fillable form, nothing with a date and signature.

Are they able to figure that one out by themselves if I give my name, d.o.b. and adress of the embassy in berlin, germany so they giv'em a ring?!

i don't think they will refuse me, hope not. just because, i also had to complete the "Contrat Relative a la Capacite d'Autonomie Financiere", stating my annual salary, but my current work permit will expire in 2 weeks. possibly it'll look a bit dodgy to them, annual salary? applied IN canada? work permit expiring in 2 weeks? (appearantly)no new one?

Well, i have to send it in the next 7 days....

what do you think?

kind regards,
lepatissier07

Hello lepatissier07,

Yes, go ahead and send it.
You can write a "cover letter" in which you explain that you currently hold a valid work permit & applied for a new which will be delivered to you once the current one expires (as advised by the authority).

Pretty easy. No worries really.
Just go ahead & remember every single day you gain is in your favour, so hurry up.

Just noticed the "Bundesflagg"..
Which made me think..why would someone leave "Deutschland"?!!!
As far as I know, it's really a lovely place to live in..

Anyways, best of luck in your immigration project.
Hope we'll meet in "la belle province". :)

Tschuss.. ;)

hi Iceberg7,

I've got one more question, not really relating to that particular subject.

With the "Young Professional Work Experience" you have to have an employer to get it, so, the Work Permit will be only valid for THIS employer. What happens for example, if the employer "decides" to close down the business because he thinks he's now rich enough. ;D Can I change the Work Permit, meaning the Employer, to work somewhere else or do I have to leave? I've read you can do this, but does it also apply to the Young Professional Work Experience, which normally thought to Work(-and Travel)...?

Kind Regards,

lepatissier07

Hello lepatissier07,

Sorry, but I have no knowledge about "Young Professional Work Experience".
But since it's limited to the employer whom it was issued for, so I guess..it's limited! :D (again, I have no knowledge about it!)

Good luck.

Hi lepatissier07,

Congratulations for your interview.
It's important to know that it will be just a normal interview just as any other interview u've passed through.
Be relaxed, confident and honest.
Prepare all your documents and everything to prove you're a superb candidate and you'll perfectly integrate into Quebec community.

You'll be asked about your futur career in Quebec. The good point is that you've already worked there..so don't worry about that.

The language is an important point they would like to check during the interview as well.
I guess after spending all that time over there..by now you surely master the language. N'est ce pas?!

Upon receiving your CSQ you'll have to apply for a PR visa.
They will open a file for that & later they will send you the MR.

Don't worry..as it's written in the Bible..

Everything has its own time, and there is a specific time for every activity under heaven

Good luck

:)

Hi Experts,

My two brothers want to apply to QSC , through their spouses they are Indian national, where should they apply.Do they need to attach formal french test certificate like TCFQ or TCF or DELF etc.Actually they just want QSC & afterwards they want to appear in French language test. Now they just want to add intermediate. Is this fulfill their purpose or it is mandatory to qualify any above stated test & must attach it wid application? Bank statement, processing fee also attached at this time or at federal level.
Plz guide me properly

Hi Iceberg7,

thanks for the quick reply.

sounds ok. looking forward to it.

I've seen that you can normally log in to the Immigration Website and track the status of your application, does this also work with the Quebec Version? Or only for the other one?

Not that important, ....but would be nice.

bye, readya again in a couple of weeks. :)

kind regards,

Hi Iceberg7,

hope you're fine! hope you didn't get to much hammered by Irene ?!

I've got my interview in about 2 weeks from now on, and I've read that after the Selection Interview the actual "federal" part starts, which includes the Med. Exam. and Police Clearances.

1 question Regarding the Police Clearances, pls.:

Will it be only the P.C.'s from the last 5 Years, the ones where they asked me on the form where I've been working in the past 5 years?

Or will it be ALL the countries I've been living in for longer than 6 months since I'm on earth? That would be than Germany, (i guess) France, England and New Zealand.....pff.

Kind Regards,
lepatissier07

Hello lepatissier07,

I'm fine..thanx.
Hope you're doing fine & the preparation for your interview is going well.

Nomally a PC is required from every country you lived in for more than 6 months from the age of 18.

I know it may be hectic to gather PCs from all these countries, butmy advice to you is to not worry about this step for now.
You'll get a guide to explain what are the docs needed for the federal stage, but for now keep your focus on your interview.

I am sure you'll do well.

Good luck.

BTW, who's Irene?! :D

Hi Iceberg7,

well, Carro was faster. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, i was just thinking to speed things up a bit. The german one takes me about 4 weeks, as well as the UK one. If I could start them now already, then I will havem' just in time. 8) The New zealand one I have to wait, it goes over the Can. Embassy in sydney, Australia and i need the File Number for it, and France takes 3 weeks for free.

Ok, thats it.

bye,

Hello Lepatissier07,

Good to gain time, but the point is that those certificates are valid for a certain period; so keep that in mind.

When will be your interview?!
Currently there's a mission running in my country, and I had the news that it's going well.
Wish you the same.

Good luck.
