Hi there, we sent our application package a few weeks ago to Mississauga.

We followed Appendix B, photograph specificiations -

However, I think we may have missed something? Some folks are saying that we need to have the person's name / studio name / date written on the back?

It didn't mention anything in the Appendix B section of adding info to the back - so we put them in an envelope, attached the envelope to the Appendix B information sheet, and sent them in with the rest of our application.

Are we okay?

If not, what happens?

Yes you need to write down person's name / studio name / date written on the back? Studio name least should had stamp on the back. Well, just wait and see what happens. If the visa officer sends you back your photo resend it to them with correct format. Sorry not sure how other's had send it, see what other's also replied to your post.

So worst case scenario is, the visa officer will ask for another set of photos to be sent to him/her? (i don't have to worry about my application package being refused, as a whole, correct?)

If problem resend another passport photo signed before you will be waiting more longer. Just write a letter saying you made a mistake not giving the right format photo. Resend a new photo with stamp from the studio, you name signed and the date.

Don't worry about this. Each country has their specific requirements. Also the # of photos asked for is not the same for everyone.

well what i did with mine was i put my Name, DOB and Signature...
i believe that instruction written on the lower part of the photo specs...

my husbands guide asked for 8 photos but no mention to sign or date etc.

So it varies country to country then. OP is applying from Korea, so that guide shows no need for the extra info on back of photos like Philippines states.

Appendix B, photograph specificiations - is instruction for photographer and there is no mention that the photographer has to seal at the back of photos and date those. The back of my photos sent to cic-missisauga is no-seal and date and my application did not come back yet which I sent on Dec 02, 2013.

Shaw, the information is on the page where the checklist is if you have to date, sign the ID photos etc, and not on the Appendix B which is the same for all applicants (I think) . Which country are you applying from?
