I'm sure I have asked this question before but I'm asking for more responses. How did you answer the questions on this form. I feel repetitive because of the all the evidence we have collected....do I answer them very factual about how I met my husband or do I write it like a narrative...do I talk about my feelings? or should I included an extra letter talking about my feelings? The how we met and the dating history seem the hardest to me... so far I have been writing it like a factual narrative...and im thinking of adding a letter about my feelings.....Any comments or tips would be most welcomed :)

I think a factual narrative approach is reasonable. Basically how I approached it too (and was told to do so by a consultant with experience in filing these apps). One thing I made sure to include was an example of a 'hardship' that we overcame together during our formative period, in our case a severe medical affliction. The fact is it helped us grow as a couple and understand each other more. Good luck!

Just state the facts and feelings where it is necessary. I wrote two pages for some questions and one to two paragraphs for others.

Hope this helps.

For our common-law application, we just filled in our answers within the lines given right on the form. We didn't need any additional paper, and didn't do any type of essay. We made sure to hit on the specific things they asked for (like meeting friends/family, describing outings/trips, etc).

There is no right or wrong way to do this. If you have a "normal" relationship timeline and the applicant is from a visa-exempt country, I don't think there is much to worry about.
