IMM8 and IMM5406

I've been asked to fill in IMM8 and IMM5406 forms for me and my spouse.

Just wanted to confirm this that in IMM8, under section "Program under which you are applying" I need to select Economic and under "Category under which you are applying" I need to select Skilled Worker? I'm FSW-O stream.

Also with regards to IMM5406, I need to fill two copies of this form - one for myself and one for my spouse. Under the "Applicant" section I will first fill one form by my name as the Applicant and my wife as the spouse followed by names of my family members. Then I will fill a new IMM5406 form this time mentioning my spouse as the "Applicant" and me as the spouse followed by names of my spouse's family members.

Is my understanding correct?

Hi Shariq,
You are right. Additional family info needs to be submitted by both of you. If you remember, i had to add my newborn in my pr app two months back. And thats what i did.

Thanks. Also did you write names in Arabic/Urdu script for each name alongside the English version in IMM5406?

I have got a request from IRCC to fill out a IMM5406, I understand the form does not need to include minors (<18 childer), I wonder why you had to include the newborn. I am in the same situation, hence trying to understand.
So did you fill out the form thrice, for you, your wife and child?

Please clarify.
