I'm from US - live in Canada now, on a work permit. Applied last year for PR. I've just received my waiver of interview/request for 5406/right of permanent residence fee. I just want to be sure I understand correctly what is being asked of me on imm 5406.

In Section A, I am asked to enter Spouse or common-law partner SEE NOTE 1 And note 1 says, "If no spouse or common-law partner is listed in section A, sign below" referring to the signature line that reads: "I certify that I do not have a spouse or a common-law partner, ex-spouse, or former common law partner."

My situation:
- I was divorced in US, submitted divorce papers with my original documents.
- I have lived with my boyfriend (Canadian) here in Toronto for over 2 years.

If I am reading this correctly, I have to note my ex-spouse's information and not sign the signature spot - correct?

thanks in advance for any information!

You are right allmyir. If you put any detail in section A,B,C, you need to Fix your sign+Date in Section "D' only.
