The signatures need to be original, so you need to actually mail the forms. Either date is fine. If you are unsure, you can add a short letter of explanation.

Ok thank you. I probably should send a written letter explaining that he is still connected to the company he is currently working. Really? The cic will not receive our documents if we sent it through scanned copy? That was our plan to have it scanned and will use it for sumbission to the visa office. Our returned documents are all original.
Signatures must be original. If the VO realizes they are scanned, you can expect your app to be returned. Risk is yours to take.

Hello my friend. I have already filled up all the forms in our spousal visa application. As i went over with the documents, i was a bit confused on the form IMM0008 (generic information) on my childs personal detail since i have a daughter, 5 years old, who will also be coming with me. In the form, UCI was being asked. Do i leave it blank or just put N/A? She has no UCI since she forms part of my application.
Hi im about to submit our spousal visa application with my husband to the VO. However, there are some small confusions on the imm 5476 (use of a representative) on the type of application to use. I was just a bit confused on what to write? is it family class sponsorship or spousal sponsorship program? The other one is form imm 0008 (generic information) in the personal details of dependent child asking for UCI. Do i have to put N/A or just leave it blank? I am just so cautious on the best information to fill.up since we know that visa officers are so keen on the forms and one missing or errors found, application is refused and documents are returned. You really need to look at the instructions. The quote you are refrring to is only for who FILLS out the form. It has nothing to do with who must be mentioned on the form. The form clearly states that applicants must mention ALL children, not just dependents.
Hi everyone. Today cic sent me an additional documents request and it's IMM5406. But there's a catch in my case: I've got a blank space in front of "father". Everything was possible in Soviet Russia. Do I have to send my birth certificate with LoE attached to it or I'm doomed to pray for Putin and love communism till the end of the days cause I ain't got a father? Thanks in advance.
I’m pretty sure you can put “Unknown” in that form (if you really got no information about your father) and attach a letter of explanation along with a copy of your birth certificate which indicates it as well. It shouldn’t be an issue.
