Hello im about to send the family class application forms but 1 think really confused me can someone please tell me if i have to put all my family members informations and photos on DETAILS OF FAMILY MEMBERS PAGE?

My wife is sponsoring me and no kids.and non of my family members will go to Canada with me so do i still have to put my family members photos and informations on that page?

Because at the top of the page says "you must provide the details each of your family members, whether they will be accompanying, you to Canada or not."

Still some people says not necessary and some says i have to.
Im so confused :( please HELP

This was very confusing for me also when I filled out this form. None of my husbands family will be accompanying him to Canada, he just resides with them. So yes I needed to put their information
on the forms. After that I almost thought I had to get medical forms filled out for all of them too. Luckily
someone stopped me before we spent the money on that, and I felt so ashamed that they would need
that, even though they were not coming to Canada. I remember thinking how could Canada do that to his family? Anyways no medicals for anyone and no photos of them, just basic information of who lives in your
household, dates of birth etc etc.

When they say family, it mean your kids and spouse, whether or not accompanying you to Canada. Since your wife is sponsoring you and you guys have no kids, you don't have to put anything there. N/A the whole page!

Would just like to emphasize to the poster that U must not leave those sections blank because they do not apply to you. Like wes786 advised, be sure to fill in "NOT APPLICABLE" or "N/A" for those sections, or your forms may very likely be returned to you.

For this form, 'family members' means your spouse/partner and kids. It does not mean what 'family members' means in ordinary English - i.e., it does not mean your parents, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, etc. Your wife is the sponsor, so she does not have to be included. So just write 'N/A' on that section.

You do have to list your parents and your brothers and sisters on the Additional Family Information form: IMM 5406, but you do not need photos of them and they do not need to get medicals done.

Thank you guys for this, mg husband and I was fighting over this topic LOL :P
