IELTS Requirement for PG

Hi,

My friend got IELTS 6 band with a band of 5.5 in writing.. Is still he will be eligible to get addmission in canada colleges?

Please advice...!!!!

he tried couple of colleges, but they told that the minimum requirement is 6.5 for pg programs..

If you know nay colleges which accepts 6, please let me know..!!! It would a great help..

That is a usual request.
Besides even if there are some sh..y colleges which accept 5.5 there could be a problem with VO and at POE.

Lambton College accepts scores of 6 for PG, Lambton even accepts 5.5 scores but in this case you will have to take an additional English course.

However Regina is right, so best thing to do is retake the test, this way there will be no problems with visa officer.
