Yes, the speaker intentionally emphasised on loading and unloading , so that people who do not listen/understand the entire context, may end up selecting on the basis of key words heard in the audio. The actual answer was : Loss of goods due to transportation.

test location (Canada or US).
my 4 answers were NG . plz reply me if u remember any answer in reading last 12 questions or any answers in listening test.

writing test: a letter to the newspaper editor about the article had inaccurate evidence. And part 2: mobile phone destroying social interaction..



My answer is NG/T/NG/T/NG/T/F





The T/F/NG section was quite challenging. I also made a stupid mistake mostly due to stress, where I wrote 1980 as the decade instead of 1980s. Also I just looked at the answer sheet for like 2 minutes and didn't write, which I believe is the correct answer to the final question, 'health benefits'.

I don't remember the sequence, but here are my answers:

- Is the main focus shifting towards tourism? - False
I wrote false because the 1st paragraph said tourism was an added benefit on the side. I'm not confident of my answer with this one.

- Weather is important... - True

- Traders used to collaborate and work together to control the market in the past - NG

- Factors such as weather affect consumer's price - NG

- The new method increased sales of different varieties of fish - NG (paragraph talked about increase in volume. no mention of variety)

- Diversity of fish market affected the sale of local fish - False

Don't rememeber the other question.

SECTION 1: TRUE/FALSE/NOT-GIVEN

1. Can students learn some theory from these courses - TRUE { I marked this False because Instruction does not mean thoery}
(It was mentioned that along with practicality, instructions will also be given)

2. All students must take a safety test - NOT GIVEN ( I marked it NOT GIVEN)
('MUST' was not in the paragraph, you rightly quoted the sentence: "students are encouraged to improve their safety", so nowhere mandatory)

3. Some courses are not completed on schedule - TRUE (I marked TRUE)
(Essay excerpt: Bad weather may result in longer time taken to complete the course
Irrespective of the cause (weather), it is categorically mentioned that course timetable may be impacted, I may be wrong)

4. All schools provide the same standard of paragliding equipment - NOT GIVEN (I marked NOT GIVEN)
(Essay excerpt: Schools offers old and new equipments to students.
We can not assume that old v/s new have different standards unless it is categorically mentioned)

5. The Shortest course is EP - FALSE
(This was the second shortest course)

6. All club members must take advanced level course. - FALSE / NOT GIVEN ( I think I marked it Not Given)
(Essay excerpt: 'MAY' take; therefore not mandatory)

7. For Insurance students needs to pay extra - FALSE
(Included in the course fee)


Basically, POINTS 3 & 4 are the real bone of contention.

Do academic reading have different passage as compared to GT.

How is difficulty level in GT as compared to academic reading.

I am asking this because band score is different based on correct answers in Cam 1-11 I am scoring 7 band with 32 correct answers.
