If you were employed under noc 7233 then I believe you can apply for CEC

Yes, IEC is only a work permit and not an immigration program. However, if you gain the 12 months of full-time work experience
required for CEC on an IEC work permit, you're all good.
I did the same.

Thank you,
If both of you qualify under the IEC criteria, then yes. It doesn't matter if you're married or not.

I'll second that. I'm also coming from an IEC background and have successfully gotten through the AOR stage. What happens next depends on what your app is like. So, dont worry about IEC, focus on your application and supporting documents (i.e. reference letter and so forth).

Speaking of this actually, to give you some hope....my buddy who also came through IEC just got MR and RPRF, and no special concerns on his file about IEC. Good luck then eh! :)

Could you please elaborate more on :::focus on your application and supporting documents?::: What matter the most ,for them to approve it?

Thanks

Yes you need no less than 12 months full-time (or equivalent) experience.

Your best option will be to apply for another IEC, complete the remainder of the 12 months experience, and then apply for CEC. If you cannot get another IEC (for example, you have reached the age limit) then you'll need to get some other kind of work permit, such as your employer arranging to hire you as a foreign worker.

Second that. If you're 6 days short, even if it doesn't sound like a lot, you're not eligible under the CEC. Get a second IEC visa or other work permit and then apply.

That's so unfair. There's any chance to get a small extent on my work permit to fill these 6 days except the second year of iec? And with out lmo?

There are no extensions for IEC work permits, you have to get a new one.

What about if I take a reference letter from my boss and the letter will say that I'm working at this job for 12 months?
