Police cert arrived and I applied! Just gotta wait now! Hopefully this comes through and makes my entire life easier!!

Yes, we uploaded all the stamped pages of her passport including green card from states and also her current Working holiday visa that expires in May. - better to be safe than sorry. - We scanned them in and saved a one pdf document. It cannot be larger than 4mb when finished, you may have to reduce the quality to around 50%, depending on how many pages you have.

We were quite lucky in that we paid the extra five quid to get an additional police certificate when we sent off her PR application.

I've been following the British Expats forum and appears some guys from the 25th have got theirs already, so hoping we should hear for my Girlfriends in the next two weeks.

We submitted on the 8th March. As long as we have it by May (when we fly back to England for 2 weeks) we are all good.

PS. Make sure you update your 'my profile' section in Kompass Account to link MyCIC, with the number you received when you submitted your application through MyCIC.

Not yet. Applied to cic on the 19th. So its only been 2 weeks so far. Apparently applications in canada are taking longer. So not expecting to hear anything for a few weeks yet.

I'm nervous! Haha. Someone got accepted for their third visa (first bunac, then iec and now the new one) same as me so that's good news but I haven't seen anyone get accepted with a pr in so far.

Hope it works out. Otherwise they'll get an email from me!!

Yes, pretty much the same as my GF. She had two BUNAC visas, this will be her first IEC Visa. Ultimately, given the timeframe of 8 weeks that they give you, its pretty much the last week of April. So we have to know something in the next 3-4 weeks.

Pretty much! I've been looking around at other forums and people and your girlfriend and I are the only ones in this situation (3rd work visa plus a pr in process)! You were before me so I hope it comes in positive soon for you and then it'll give me hope!

Mid to late april is a conservative estimate tho! Some people are well over the 6 week mark for cic now. I dunno.

Sumitted on March 8th, not heard anything this week, we applied on the 25th February - so going off the timeline, we are given 2 weeks for the IEC section via London, and then 6 weeks for CIC via Canada, so given that, we should know in the next two weeks all being well!

Oh wow! Congrats!! That's awesome news! In that case then I'm not worried at all about the pr affecting the iec. I just need them to see that my first work visa was bunac 2010 and therfore doesnt count as my first iec!!

I hope to wake up to an email soon! Yay! Congrats again!!

just wondering how you planned on returning on your IEC Visa as the requirements of actually getting the visa stamped at the border is to show proof of return flight?

Just wondering what your thoughts on this are? are you booking a return flight for 2014 back to UK or will you explain to Officer at the border about sponsorship application??
