HI guys just for information purpose

CANADA issues more than 12000 student visas to Saudi citizens each year. Actually the government has scholarship facilities for it's Saudi

citizens who wish to go to Canada for study , in return for the scholarship they have to serve their country( Saudi) for the duration they

have spent studying in Canada ,

note that the scholarship is for the entire period of education covering all expenses.

Hi Ali

I have been living in Saudi since I was born 8), it's been 18 years for me,

last year I applied at Riyadh , I'm living in Ad dammam currently, they refused my case for funds and ties,

I can deal with the funds but the ties part wasn't clear enough to me, so I decided to apply with more funds and apply in India .

You can re-apply in your country, but it will take time

1. Immigration history means that you have spent prolonged periods outside your country more than 6 years , also did u apply for an exit and re- entry visa for Saudi before u applied at CHC riyadh

2. who is sponsoring you financially?

3. did u mention in your app that your uncle is PR of CANADA,

4. you can also order CAIPS notes , your uncle can help in obtaining it from Canada.
oh I am sorry to hear about your refusal. So what happened when you applied from India did you get it. Oh thanks for explaining that so it is bad for one to be out of his country for prolong periods that is what that implies I guess. No I did not have an exit reentry on my passport I was told by FIFA that it is not required. My father would be. Yes I mentioned I was told that it helps to have relatives there I never knew it would go against me.

You need to take the matter seriously than "i have nothing else to do so will give it another shot from islamabad!" having a rejection on your travel history is a serious matter. When i assess applications for people who come to me if their chances are not 90% plus i tell them do not bother applying you will be rejected and worse still your travel history will be hurt. In your case before you applied i would have said do not bother the chances off success for a pak citizen applying to chc in saudi is very slim at best.
I know it is and luckily this was my first I have had several visas before. What do you mean you assess applications are you an agent or something. Cant you help me? what makes you say that I have had around 7-8 friends who went to canada (all pakis) and NONE of them was rejected and trust me some of them had lousy applications they hardly had all there stuff together. And what would you suggest could enhance my chances to 90% as you said. Keeping in mind I am a student. No one would offer me a job before my bachelors.

yes they do and they receive pocket money for there every day expenses. I would have never went to Canada if I were a Saudi I believe they have great universities here to only if one wants to study that is.

HI Ali

I haven't applied in INDIA yet but I'll be leaving shortly for Delhi in a month InshaAllah .Just getting some final paperwork done. My main concern is ties , since I have seen people get visas even though they have spent extra time outside their country , I feel I should apply again .

DOn't listen to a word FIFA says they don't know Canada Immigration , they only put that up as a banner for ads, they only do the tourist and visitor visa work, and they'll only get u guaranteed for a schenzen visa for Europe if u wish to study there.

I don't know how FIFA is in RIYADH,but it sucks here in Dammam , they openly criticize the Riyadh commission

but last year when I went to FIFA with all the paperwork they didn't give me the right info.

SO I advice you to take the matter in your hands and deal with it.

and yes you need an exit and re-entry visa before applying ,

you can see for yourself in the study permit checklist for Saudi arabia

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/saudi_arabia-arabie_saoudite/assets/pdfs/visas/53_1_eng.pdf

under Evidence of legal status in Saudi Arabia you will find that they need an exit and re-entry visa

where did ur friends apply from ?

mentioning relatives does not matter as long as they are not sponsoring you financially , you must show funds to cover your own living expenses and tuition

If u have any previous passports that have stamps to Pakistan , you can show them that as well .

Re: student visa rejected, will apply again,,,good idea?

I will call it as i see it. You have no home ties. You are not a citizen nor have permanent residency in saudi at the same time you have lived outside of pakistan continuously for several years showing you dont have strong ties to pakistan either. If you want to make another serious attempt at a student permit you need to move back to pakistan establish ties and apply in a couple of years time. I am not an immigration agent and i do not charge anything for my help. I help people locally with immigration matters i dont like to see them being ripped off by agents. Unfortunately the way things are there is no future for an honest law abiding citizen in pakistan.

@Obeid_oo

OH BEST OF LUCK INSHALLAH I HOPE YOU GET IT FROM DELHI. Well I am in a similar situation I guess.
I would do it myself. I did check that website but as he told me IQAMA would do in lieu of the exit reentry so I thought that it was so. My friends applied through FIFA at CHC RIYADH. I did include my previous passport but it didnt really help. And they actually said that I have a some issue with my travel history dont know what is that suppose to mean.

@macthepak

No that is not how it is. I AM PERMENANT RESIDENT OF SAUDI ARABIA. I had been one since last ten years. There is this document you get here which has to be renewed every two years, mine just did. All you need to have for that is some one willing to sponsor you. You cant work on that though as much as I know.

As about staying in PAKISTAN. As I said I was in PAKISTAN for last two - two and half years. Right after I did 12 grade. I was enrolled in a full time university there so I thought that was enough of a tie. In this time I lived at my grand parents who had been there for ever.
OH THAT IS SURPRISING. MASHALLAH THAT IS REALLY NICE OF YOU. I KNOW THAT IS A HARSH REALITY when it comes to PAKISTAN. BUT INSHALLAH ALLAH PAK WOULD REWARD YOU AND OTHERS FOR THE HELP THEY PROVIDE. JAZAKALLAH

Ali27112. Please do not fool yourself. You are NOT a permanent resident in saudi. The document you talk about that you need to renew every 2 years only if you have a sponsor. I know all about that scam. You have to pay you sponsor or else he will not renew your residency permit. There is nothing permanent about it! Its all blackmailing and money making for the local saudi populous. I have several close friends who go through the same cycle every 2 years. A permanent resident should not have be held to ransom!

haha dude that is not what I was talking about.......I know what the hell you thought it was and yeah that is something of that sort..............I on the other hand have a legal sponsor and it is not a freaking person its a company whom I dont pay anything.I only pay the fees required for the document renewal which is a mere 500 SR here nothing on top of that I know alot of people do that. And yeah I had been living here for half my life at least I would be sure of what my legal status is in the country.

I think USA and Canada should follow Saudi Arabia footsteps. Once your studies are done, you are back to your country. This way students can prove their home ties easily. No work permit. No PR. You are back to your country.

Why do canada and USA allow students to change their status from student to work permit then PR? Students should not be allowed to change their status. This way home tie issues will be no problem then. As I said, things are not in black and white.
