and for canada studies they make a complete analysis.......if you are eligible then they will sure give you visa but try to
get the point from the visa officer because he has the final authority if you will say that your course is related to your previous studies it will not work.......i suggest you to change your course

we have read the subjects of wireless communication and computer networking in our degree, but computer science students have read only computer networks, they have not read wireless communications,
and one more thing,
it's wireless n/w
i am an ece engineer and i am eligible to get job in a telecom company more than a computer science student,
and wireless n/w is a course for telecom engineers , more than a computer engineers,
but if u look at the contents of this course there is a mixture of subjects of ece and cs students.
so u can't say , it is only for cs students
my 5 friends have gone to canada in this course after a ece degree

dude take a brief relax and just think you are trying to argue with a foreign qualified immigration officer whose job is to take analysis
and also he has knowledge of all immigration rules and laws related immigration
well if you think that you are confident and he is wrong then you must go in court against him so next time he will not refuse any other student
so my suggestion is that you must took a big step if you have solid justification
i am not here to argue with you just sharing the information that i keep with me and gained from professional international
experience of 6 years of work,,,well i am working as a computer programmer and i aslo monitoring the network in the office in UAE
you must go ahead and try to satisfy the immigration office

he also mentioned that you can re-submit the application so when you are going to re-submit your application you must attach the property documents and car papers if owned by you that will support your study permit application that you will come back to your home land after completing your studies,,,,,,,,well attach a cover letter which will show your study plans, goals, scope of your course and others but you have to submit all documents again

and lots more.

and wireless is a sub- part or u can say sub category or u can say developed field of electronics
i don't know subjects of cs students
but i am sure they haven't read wireless communication in their degree in ptu university syllabus.
my 5 friends got visa this time in sep 2010 session in pg certificate of wireless and networking.
and u know, they have degree in electrnics and communication.
my 3 friends also got visa in jan 2010 session and they r from same field
so i just want to say u that u can't say that, this course is not for ece students.
and i can't say that , this course is not for computer science students,

BACKGROUND
I have completed my 10+2 in non-medical from Raj High Govt. Sen. Sec. School Sangrur in 2003. After that I have done my B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar in 2008 (batch 2004-2008). I also did 6 months Industrial Training in Embedded systems from Silicon Mascot institute Chandigarh.
I have a great interest in networking and I have taught the subjects of computer networking and digital circuit and logical design as a lecturer in Shaheed Udham Singh Technical Institute (A technical Centre authorized by Punjab Infotech Corporation Ltd. undertaken by Punjab Govt.) from 15 Sep. 2008 to 21 Dec. 2009. During my working, when I taught these subjects, my interest in these grew up and I planned to go for practical in depth knowledge of these subjects by pursuing further studies in the same and then I started searching for the course and came across this wireless networking course in George Brown College.
Now, about my family, I belong to a well educated and Well Settled family. My Parents are Govt. employees and working as a Govt. Teacher. I have one elder brother and he is also a Govt. employee and working as a Customer Relation Associate in State Bank of India. FIELD OF INTEREST

My interest in Telecommunication developed when I started doing Degree in Electronics and Communication. I have strong hold on the subject and I believe it is one of my favorite subjects. Hence engineering with computers networking as my major was the first choice for my graduate studies. Right since the beginning of my graduate study Communication and Networking is a subject that has fascinated me with its power of being the backbone of any company. The subjects that I have studied include Communication Systems, Digital Signal Processing, Antenna and Wireless Communication, Computer Networks, Signal and Systems, C++. These laid the foundation for my courses in Electronics and Communication. A PG Certificate in Wireless Networking as major field is the next logical step.
I believe that Wireless Networking studies can help me to develop other vital skills essential to my standing as a professional. For example, I will benefit from the opportunity to further polish my practical knowledge and understandings in the field.
