It's like a tangible proof of Citizenship so it feels good. I had the same feeling even though I still just use my NEXUS card to enter Canada.BLT said:It's like you never got any passport before. ;D

One advice is it good to keep Certificate of Citizenship in bank locker?
Think about it... what document do most people around the world think of when they think of a citizenship document?CanadianCountry said:Technical correction guys, passport is NOT a tangible proof of citizenship. Certificate of Citizenship sure is.

blueshirt said:So every time we renew passport we need to provide citizenship certificate. In that case we should get wallet card like PR instead of A4 size paper worried if it does not get damaged. Atleast get laminated paper
SenoritaBella said:The back of the certificate says in bold, "Please do not laminate". The certificate has 2 bar codes, and laminating could destroy them.
If you leave the certificate in the protective plastic that it came with, and keep it in a safe place(like you do with your PR card, COPR, passport, etc), it should not get "damaged".

i was just thinking if they use high quality paper glossy more like polymer which is tear and water proof.
Landing papers are more thin and damagable even the ink fades away how can that be used at age 65 for pension. If its nit readable then what value it will add
