Well you really do not have much to worry. There are a lot of companies who provide you insurance for as less as $3 per day. Moreover, if you do incur medical expenses covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Prog) in the three months, you can always claim them back after you get your Heath Card.

Quite honestly, its a tough market and it may take you some time to land the suitable job. You need patience and perseverance. If you decide to move to Alberta, your chances will improve. Everyone makes it eventually, just a matter of time and efforts.

well, thanks for the attention. I applied on nov 2009 and my e-status is telling "rbvo" . I am hopeful if London office starts processing files for pre-june 2010 , i may get my visa stamped by the end of 2011. (However i belive , the early, the better) smiles.
i have some question, so how did you get the job, i mean any further degrees /certification etc or hat? I wont mind some other stuff related to education field if not specifically in teaching...i mean , some research work, or teach in bailuangal scools, or may be try to get self employeed by starting any kind of baby sit or something. what could be my opportunies. I wonder!

Duration of credit history depends on the lenders. Usually one year is ok. You can buy a house for 5% Down Payment as your starter home.

Even no credit history in Canada is ok. Depends on the lenders. For new cars financing, you need a sound credit history though.

I agree. Just that you might not qualify for a great interest rate for the first year on your mortgage (Home loan).

I was residing in the US (not in Asia) before migrating to Canada.

by the grace of god and regular support of all Forum members I have received my Visa recently and planning to be landed in Toronto in early June...probably will be residing at Downtown.

could u pls assist me with possible job hunting ways/links/possible employers cont. address and initial preparations...?

( I & my spouse have taken Masters degree in English frm Nepal, now thinking of available jobs on any profession...initially )
