If you are staying in a temporary accommodation, you can provide that address. No issues, just contact me before you land and I will provide you with an address.mel_rodil said:hi bsrk68!
it is really nice of you to offer your help!
Just wish to ask and hope you could advise me. I have recieved my visa and landing papers with the indicated destination to Toronto, Ontario. But since I dont know anyone in toronto and I dont have any address to give for my PR card application, would it be possibe to just give my friend's address in Edmonton? My plan is to land in Toronto, but for my PR application (which will be on my first landing) I'll give my friend's Edmonton address... would this not pose any problem?
thanks a lot!

hi buddy.............could you give me an idea as to how much time it will take a student to adjust to the canada system of education.........bsrk68 said:Its better to finish the Grade 12 in India.
From English speaking countries, its not too difficult. Again it all depends on various factors, like level, language, culture, intelligence etc. Hard to say in general...but Post-secondary studies in Canada are quite gruelling for students.Liferocks said:hi buddy.............could you give me an idea as to how much time it will take a student to adjust to the canada system of education.........
Well you really do not have much to worry. There are a lot of companies who provide you insurance for as less as $3 per day. Moreover, if you do incur medical expenses covered by OHIP (Ontario Health Insurance Prog) in the three months, you can always claim them back after you get your Heath Card.ahmadtajwer said:Hi BSRK, I'll be landing on 2nd May InshaAllah, just wanted to you, do you know any cheap health insurance companies that i can get my health insurance with? I do believe, Toronto health system don't cover PRs for 1st 3 months? Many thanks.
You are quite welcome.spyder2011 said:Nice work bsrk68, Thanks for sharing your experience/knowledge with all of us!

That's kool, that means even if i go to see doctor, whatever charges I incur, i can claim that back after getting OHIP which means no need of insurance really.bsrk68 said:Well you really do not have much to worry.
