by the grace of god and regular support of all Forum members I have received my Visa recently and planning to be landed in Toronto in early June...probably will be residing at Downtown.

could u pls assist me with possible job hunting ways/links/possible employers cont. address and initial preparations...?

( I & my spouse have taken Masters degree in English frm Nepal, now thinking of available jobs on any profession...initially )

Congratulations Buddy, Canada awaits you. Sure you can count on me for whatever little capacity I can. There's already a lot of info in this forum covered by a lot of seniors and I am not sure if I can add to any of those in your job-hunt. After a slump due to recession and some unforeseen issues like SARS etc., the Hospitality Sector has rebounded well. Most Hotels were at full capacity during the recent summits and sports events. Hospitality jobs are the easiest to get if you are not too too rigid about your entry position. There are lots of good placement agencies who do not charge you anything for placements. All you have to do is register with them and you will start getting interview calls. You may think about starting a career in the Fast Food Chains too in a Managing capacity. They pay well, have well-structured training programs and you can go up the ladder quickly. So its all good news for people in this sector.

1-I landed on 2010, and my son complete three years on Architect engineering college on Bahrain where we were living as a residence. He tried to find an Architectural Engineering College to start with. Any help if he could find a college on his field, and might be lost some education years, please inform and advice.

2-My daughter also completed 11 class, and can she start directly with the high school on Toronto, and she has high score and her English language is good, please advice if she can complete the 12 class on Canada and directly going to college as she is interesting to be a dentist.

Repeat my previous lines: There are lots and lots of links in this forum which are helpful. I encourage you to go through them and you will find a lot of cues. What is your field of work? If it is something I can relate to, I can try and see if I can get you some references. Don't despair and keep patience. Have you tried agencies?
