Am I eligible with 14 years of education, even though I have not completed Degre

Hi,

I am interested in migrating to Canada under federal skilled worker immigration category,
I am a college drop out, I passed my Bcom 2nd year exam ( 14 years of education) with 83%, after that I started working, and now I am having 5 years of experience as a Cook, my question is can I claim 20 points in education even though I have not completed my graduation, which is 15 year’s of education degree.

Your advise is appreciated

It depends if you have documets to support your work experience and also you may have to complete your BCom as the details from CIC is very clear.
Quote:
Points are awarded for earned educational credentials as well as the number of years of full‑time studies or full‑time equivalent studies. To be awarded points, you must meet both stated criteria.

Full‑time studies: At least 15 hours of instruction per week during the academic year. This includes any period of workplace training that forms part of the course.

Full‑time equivalent studies: If you completed a program of study on a part‑time or accelerated basis, count the length of time it would have taken to complete the program on a full‑time basis.

Use the chart below to determine your points. If you have not completed the number of years of study that correspond to your highest educational credential, award yourself points based on the number of years of study. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG72.asp#factors

Example 1: If you have a Master’s degree but have completed only 16 years of full‑time study, award yourself 22 points.
Example 2: If you have a four‑year Bachelor’s degree and have completed 14 or more years of study, award yourself 20 points

CIC states "If you have not completed the number of years of study that correspond to your highest educational credential, award yourself points based on the number of years of study." whcih is 14years, I suppose.

So you can give you the points based on the no of years. But always better get the evaluation done by experts and also your credential to proove your eligibility as a cook need to be substantiated with supporting documents.
