Hi,
I traveled from Canada to my home country for a brief period. I left Canada on 28th Dec 2012 and reached my country on Dec 30th 2012 (Local time) as per stamp on my passport. So how do I show Dec.29th on my application?
1. I can show it as time in transit (needs extra line in table) from Canada to India OR
2. I can show that I lived in my home country from Dec. 29th and write a note that actually I reached on Dec. 30th in my home country so if they ask for passport later I have a reason.
It doesn't make huge difference, as time from Dec. 28th will be counted outside Canada anyways. But just want to be accurate.
Please respond ASAP. Thanks in advance.
DOES CIC has any guidelines for such a situation?
