for the number of family members, place two (2) for sponsor and principal applicant. IF you have non-accompanying dependents, do not add them to the app. IF you have accompanying dependents, for example, you have one (1) child who is not a pr or canadian citizen who will be receiving PR the same time as you, add him/her to the app. so in this example you type in three (3). hope this works for you! if not, try to use uci number or other combinations, try adding all dependents, or try to fill single as marital status (i don't know why but it worked for some).

sometimes it takes time to link. how long was it from your aor?

acknowledgement of receipt. it's basically the e-mail you receive when they give you your application number and UCI number saying they received and started processing your app.

Try filling everything except the passport details and in place of no of applicants fill 2 or check the above posts !

I tried to do that but still didn't work what else can I do it's been almost 6 months I usually check my status thru ECAS but the don't give u enough details it keeps saying in process for a while I don't know do they mean background check and da
