How to file official complaints against CIC services, performance, ...?

And a lot of people haven't. I think it's quite insensitive to dismiss the fact that the system has issues and it can be improved. The file you're referring to has been with CIC for a year with no processing at all. The same with around 10'000 cases transferred after Buffalo's closure.

Being fair is a good trait to have. Good for you to have a smooth processing. But could you please stop downplaying other people's problems?

It also should go without saying that every person is different in their capabilities. Some people have the ability to take life by the horns and desensitize themselves against the lemons it so often throws. Not everyone is like that, and sometimes the problems we face get heavier, lessening that ability.

Like water off a ducks back... It's not always easy to think like that though.

Don't worry about some daddy's kids playing around I stopped caring about these likes long ago. They have been spoiled by their daddy's and have not yet taken responsibilities or known it. These are among the temporarily privileged... and they will fight for the situation to remain ugly as they will be hurt by any auditing

What problem does the OP have? He is still within normal processing, so what's the problem?

Sure the system has issues, but only for the minority, not the majority. The truth is, most get through without any drama. Some do not, but this is the way it is...people need to learn how to deal with it.

Dr. Eng X is a complainer. He has been crying like a baby since the first time he posted on this forum. What good does that do for the rest of the people still waiting? Does it help? No. All it does is frustrate people even more.

If you are within normal processing, do NOT complain about how slow it is...you have nothing to complain about until it goes beyond normal processing. Isn't that pretty clear? Complaining about how slow it takes or how it should be faster is utterly useless. You are immigrating...it's not like it's your right to do so...if it were, there wouldn't be this process...

Again back to the thread topic...some would want to take me to side fights or make it about a specific person

CIC has held many files in CPP-Ottawa and they did NOT do anything or help the Visa Office instead and after months they transferred the files without order
Now the Visa Office claims to have started processing the files based on the date they were received from Ottawa. However, that is NOT the order in which the files were recieved. There is huge unjustice
How to complain? How to find justice?

Those three links only point to two cases of a bad individual in CIC, yet you quote them again and again..
They are nothing to do with CIC performance as an organisation. If this is all the hard fact you have available, I suggest that you stop whining and "get a life". This forum is not your personal soap box. (look it up if you don't understand).

Nobody stops to ask themselves if perhaps the applicant is the problem. Maybe the application is incomplete, hard to decifer, or just unorganized.

No one is trying to down-play how stressful and annoying it is to have your application at the CIC for a year, but we are saying the that CIC is not as evil at most think that they are.

Hi Dr. Eng,

There are not just those 3 cases - which are major ones no doubt- but there are cases about CIC-Vegreville office (a remote place in Alberta) - where applications were disposed intentionally - just because the workers wanted a pay raise. They perhaps got it eventually - but what about the applicants who were waiting for WPs as they had already got job offers etc..They are the ones who had to bear the brunt of irresponsible behavior of CIC officers.

Unfortunately, there is not much one can do against CIC at this moment. If you have money and time, you can hire a lawyer and file a suit against CIC. What's the most that will come out of it? You will get your immigration, or a Work Permit etc. But on a huge cost. And this is where its all wrong.

CIC needs to open a channel where they can answer complaints and quickly assess if the final decision was done correctly. Right now, there is no such window to answer any complaints. Applicants who apply through a lawyer - only their lawyers are able to get in touch with the visa officer and yes - sometimes the visa officer rectifies their mistake. But its really rarely done.

Writing in major newspapers - ottawa or toronto based - is perhaps the only useful thing we can do.
