Usually everyone has 2 passport on this Citizenship forum.
Citizenship 1: by birth/parents
Citizenship 2: Canadian by naturalization

Now, suppose for some reason, a person who took the Canadian citizenship oath, cut his/her PR card. But due to some emergency travelled outside Canada, on the passport of by birth country. How can he/she, enter Canada now without Canadian passport ?

Note: Not through USA by land. Usually not many Citizenship 1 passport has access to USA without tourist visa.

You won't be able to enter Canada without a valid PR card on Citizenship 1.

If you have all required documents with you, apply for Canadian passport from the US and then re-enter Canada once you have the new passport.

Apply for a passport from the closest ambassy or consulate.
That's your only choice of you can't show up at the US land border.

So, without USA - land border route, only option is to get Canadian passport from closest Canadian embassy/consulate/high commission in foreign land.

Thanks everyone.

Yes. Note that they can issue emergency/temporary passports or travel documents in some instances, but they set the bar for this rather high. Contact the embassy.

For those with passports of certain countries:
-US citizens can just board a plane with their US passport. (Recommend identify as citizen at passport control in Canada).
-Those with passports from visa waiver countries (i.e. ETA eligible) can apply for 'special authorization.' See here: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/visit-canada/dual-canadian-citizens-visit-canada.html#findOut

Of course, those dual nationals (USA or visa waiver countries) are mostly those who could enter USA and cross land border, so this doesn't change the situation for those of other countries.
