How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

Me too submitted at VFS chandigarh on 14 dec.I was dependent.My husband is in canada nd he got his passport already although our file is approved.Its so frustating to check status again nd again.I called vfs ,they told there is delayed due to bzy schedule in emabassy.But if we see other who submitted later than us,all of them got their passport.so worried.Cant even contact with delhi high comission.Keep me update if u get any info.

Any body out here who has submitted his passport at VFS Delhi?

I got the request for submission on 1st November, submitted it on 14th November to VFS Delhi, got email that it has reached canadian visa office on 15th. Since then the tracking on VFS shows this only : Visa application, tracking ID No.XXXXXXXXXXXXXX is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website.

It seems VFS Bangalore and Hyderabad are pretty quick.

Any one has any experience from VFS Delhi ?

And those who already have the visa, whats the time limit prescribed within which you got to make a landing in Canada?

same with me ..submitted with chd vfs on chd...delivered at Delhi on 19 Jan at 11:49pm...got email on 22 nd Jan at 11:05 pm dat it is forwarded to Canada visa office chd...tracking id shows it is being processed at Canada visa office,new delhi....please guide ...it's too much confusing n worrying

Hi You picked up from VFS Chandigarh office or courier , i opted for pick up at counter option , submitted at Chandigarh on 20th , COPR letter is also there ?

One question I opted to courier to bti..will my passport will be returned back to vfs chd n rhn dy will forward bti??or will it be dispatched directly from Delhi to bti????plz reply

received msg from VFS that my application has been forwarded to Canada visa office, Bangalore[/QU I received email n message dat it is forwarded to Canada visa office ,chd .......can u plz share what is scene with u after dis email ???

Ask your husband to send a mail at CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to change your visa office near to your residence.They will reply within same day and ask you to send your passport to near VFS centre.For you,no need to fill annex form..U just need your passport nd two photographs clicked under specifications.

For those who are worrying about the delay: my passport was stamped after 20 business days. If you have submitted the passport(s), just wait patiently. This is my timeline:
Passport submitted to VFS (Auckland): 27 Dec 2017
Passport delivered to Visa office in Sydney (Australia): 29 Dec 2017
CIC account status changed to "approved": 23 Jan 2018
Passport collection at VFS: 25 Jan 2018

Hi, goail from VFS Qatar that my passport despatched from Abu Dhabi embassy. Exact 20 days this mail came after submitting my passport. Now waiting for daughter passport who submitted in Kolkata VFS on the 9 the jan. It's still show under process. Hoping to get some news next week.

Need some help!!!

This is regarding a delay in getting our passports back from the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.

In Sep 2017, I and my wife had collected our visa-affixed passports from the VFS New Delhi office.

After the birth of my daughter in Oct 2017, I requested IRCC for adding her to my application, I got an email saying that I have to "pay the document replacement fee of $60 CAN.", pay her Immigration fees of $150 and also submit some documents. While I submitted the documents and paid the $150 fees, there was no method mentioned to pay the document replacement fee of $60 (I searched online but could not find a way/place).


we submitted our passports on 2017/12/18, and on 2018/01/05 got a message on CIC account that our application was approved. It has been 2 full weeks but our passports have not reached the VFS office (on tracking the status, I get the message "Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website")

Is this delay because of the non-payment of the document replacement fees?
If yes, can I know the process to pay the processing fees and intimating IRCC?
