How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

This is regarding a delay in getting our passports back from the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.

In Sep 2017, I and my wife had collected our visa-affixed passports from the VFS New Delhi office.

After the birth of my daughter in Oct 2017, I requested IRCC for adding her to my application, I got an email saying that I have to "pay the document replacement fee of $60 CAN.", pay her Immigration fees of $150 and also submit some documents. While I submitted the documents and paid the $150 fees, there was no method mentioned to pay the document replacement fee of $60 (I searched online but could not find a way/place).


we submitted our passports on 2017/12/18, and on 2018/01/05 got a message on CIC account that our application was approved. It has been 2 full weeks but our passports have not reached the VFS office (on tracking the status, I get the message "Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxx is being processed at the Canada Visa Office, NEW DELHI.To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website")

Is this delay because of the non-payment of the document replacement fees?
If yes, can I know the process to pay the processing fees and intimating IRCC?

My case is quite same with u.I was dependent in mu husband PR case.We got PPR together.He submitted at ottawa nd I submitted at VFS chandigarh.On cic we got approved on10Jan.He got his passport back.while my passport is in process☹

My case is similar . Me and my wife submitted our passports on dec 27 2017 . And we haven’t received any updates on our passport till now .
My primary visa office is Singapore after getting the approval from sgvo I have submitted my passports at ndvo till now there is no reply .Additionally after ppr from sgvo there are two slots created to upload passport and digital photo. As per sgvo we don’t need to upload anything .

Now I am struck at india and my job is at stake as couldn’t go to Singapore .

Please and kindly guide me

Don't worry about the conflict between the 2 countries, our applications are being handled by the government of Canada regardless of our current country of residence. I reside in Abu Dhabi but our VO is in London. When the LVO requested for my passport last week, I submitted it via VFS Abu Dhabi. They know what they're doing, sit back and relax for now ;) Good luck and hope we get good news soon!

received my COPR today. Now waiting for my daughter's..

My minor daughter submitted her passport in Kolkata VFS on the 9/01/2018 . Still now no news. VFS site shows ..in process in Delhi embassy.
Any one with the same timeline. How long is it taking to et COPR from Delhi embassy.

It depends case to case.Sometimrs they take long time.My case took one month nd 15 days to stamp visa.Dont worry.
