How long does it take for CIC to receive my application and list it online ?

Hi

I sent my family sponsorship application today but forgot to attach the open work permit... I would like to send it ASAP, however, according to some thread, I need to apply OWP separately after my PR application been filed otherwise the OWP app will be declined...

Therefore I think that means I need to send my OWP once my application shows up on CIC web. Please give me advice if my logic is correct and how long does it take for CIC to list my application if the package will arrive on DEC 30 PM via FEDEX....

Once you receive your AOR (Acknowledgement of Receipt) from CIC [ in about 30 days], you can then send in your OWP request. Your AOR will show your UCI number that you can use when sending in the OWP, so that CIC can match it up with your application. It would be a good idea to write OWP WITH PR APPLICATION. PROCESS AFTER AIP so that they know that this is contingent on you getting AIP before they process the OWP application.
