hey, I had sent mine around the same time and from the COPR and visa it looks like they hadn't done anything until last week. You may want to call or email CIC.

Praise God! I finally received the COPR and passports. But guess what!?! They have interchanged my wife's Family Name and Given name Not sure what I need to do.. dreading sending it back as I'm concerned it would take another couple of months to correct it.. Any advice please?....

I had the similar situation, my marital status on COPR forms were wrong, i sent several emails to CPP regarding about this matter, they finally replied back to me and asked me to send everything back to correct the error. i think you should contact them first

Are you in Canada? Have you tried contacting your MP yet? What about GCMS notes? I'm sorry that you have to wait for so long.

Did you contact her through email? They usually hear back from the CIC within 2 or 3 days. Since you contacted her last Friday, it's probably not a bad idea to try to follow-up with her. These MPs are busy people, so sometimes, even though they may have heard something from them, they forgot (or have not had the chance yet) to notify you. That was what happened with my local MP when I made the inquiry. I called them, and they told me they heard back from Ottawa in that same morning (but they had not yet notified me, and probably wouldn't if I hadn't made the inquiry).

About GCMS, please follow the instructions given by the following link

I'm assuming you live in Canada, right? If so, you're entitled for the release of information under the Privacy Act, so it's all free. The only drawback is the fact that you have to wait 31 days before you get these notes.

Thank you so much for giving me all the information. I will call MP tomorrow morning to follow up. I am in Canada now, I will look into the GCMS notes, hopefully I will get passports back within 31 days. :'(
