I contact my local MP last Friday, she hasn't contact me yet. Do you know how long they can hear back from CIC? How to order the GCMS note? How long does it take to get the GCMS note?

CPP-O received passports on April 10th, it has been the 10th week now~ I don't even care when they are sending them back now :-[ :'(

same here. Got passport request on April 5th, sent passports to Ottawa on April 7th and got there on April 10th. Sent email to CPP-O if they received my passports and RPRF. They replied yesterday saying the RPRF is received, passports are still in queue to be finalized. TWO MONTHS NOW :'(

Hi Vella, they just send me another email saying that is a confusion. They still have my passports and they are in queue to be finalized, and they cannot estimate the time it will take. :'(

My ecas still shows one address which is the mailing address. I hope I can get my passport back next week. ;D

Thank you Asbereth. i got this email around 5pm yesterday. I have put a prepaid envelope with my passport and the tracker was not activated yesterday. I am thinking that they did not return my passport yesterday or Canadapost did not scan the envelope??

but I did not include a copy in the Xpressport envolope. Do you think they would go back to check my application to see if I have a validate work permit? I thought that is why it is a bit slow for me.

I have a feeling that it is slow because of my visa on the passport is expired in 2011. I got my work permit which is good till 2014 but I did not apply for a new visa. Anyone knows if CPP-O will check your application for work permit copy? I did not include one in the envelope which I sent in April

I have a friend, he is in Manitoba as well. He sent his passport on March 26th and got it back on April 11th.
