How long does it take CPP-O to stamp PR visas?

I sent Ottawa the e-ticket of my flight abroad, and they answered me with the standard replies, adding me to the priority list, saying they cannot say how long it takes, etc.
I did not contact the PNP office here in the city again.

Yes, something must have happened from mid Feb to mid March in Ottawa, I don't understand why they didn't complete ours before the ones in April...
I've been checking this thread for a long time, so I've seen people sending PP, receiving it and landing... for the last 9 weeks

I think they might have misplaced our passports ?

I have a coworker that received an email telling her that her papers were moved from Detroit to Ottawa around the time I sent the passport, maybe that is why they put our envelopes apart until they have time again to work on them, which is probably now... I hope!!

It looks like the news saying that Detroit was closed were posted on Jan 29, 2013:

January 29, 2013 — Effective January 29, 2013, the Visa and Immigration Sections at the Canadian Embassy in Caracas and the Canadian Consulates General in Detroit and Seattle are closed. In addition, the Visa and Immigration Section at the Embassy in Washington, D.C. will have some services transferred to other offices.

This really seems to be a big issue. I guess in my case they will be rejecting me coz I have sent 18 emails to them in total ....they must be very anoid
but there is really somethng wrong. either they dont want to process PNP applications or they lost feb passports

Your case is super extreme I guess. Have you tried ordering GCMS notes or contacting your local MP? I hope you get yours back soon

I guess that is the only option I am left with to get intouch with MP and get my passport out through here.

What about GCMS? You can at least tell if your COPR is ready or if (God forbid) they lost your passport...

I really dont knw what GCMS stands for .. could you please advise?
