How does CIC verify employment ref letters?

Hi All,

Can somebody advise if CIC call the employer or HR department to verify the employment letter?

Is there any standard process that Cic follows for employment letter verification?

several folks asked that same question many times before, but we've never heard from anyone that CIC called their employer... it remains a mystery..
If they do call/fax employers every now and then, i'm sure it's a very very rare situation... hope this helps!
