How do I change visa status from tourist visa to working visa when in Canada

Hi there,

I am currently in Canada on a tourist visa and whilst here my working visa that I applied for in the UK has been approved. What do I need to do to get my visa status changed onto the work visa. Can I just go to the airport or will I need to leave the country and re-enter?

Please advise.

Go to the closest border, cross it and come back
I've done it before with a work permit I got from France.
You can't go to the airport if you're already in the country
