Congrats!!

Hi hi LN9714, congrats for your DM =)
Canada really is a great place

hope you may help me about these questions

1) after police check (just use AOR1 sponsor UCI do it), do I need to upload the receipt pdf to eCAS and mail it to Quarry Bay office again?
2) body check also. (new file because they do not have sponsor UCI info in system HK)
3) cap picture...
(h t t p ://i.imgur.com/JCnFtEZ.png)
(consent to release) that part I forgot to fill in but signed at the bottom
do you think is good idea to mail them back (original) or ignore until they maybe ask for?
4) for PPR that part, what do you think if upload to eCAS before they request?

billion thanks 8)

I ordered the second notes on the 26th of October.

The initial review by the first VO say review required at the end of the notes, that was updated on the 23/7/2015. Don't you think the second VO should have reviewed by now?

No medical request , though my medical has expired Oct 18th.
No Interview date scheduled .

It makes me wonder.

Hi David, my husband's application was reviewed by 2 different officers as well. 1st review happened on July 24th, which concluded that "REVIEW REQUIRED". On August 13th, 2nd officer reviewed our application again, then he/she updated eligibility to "PASSED". I believe your 2nd notes will tell you if eligibility is passed or not. Good Luck!

Yeah, read this thread , learn other posters experiences. Put your details on the HK spreadsheet, its helpful to track the progress of all applications: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eOaxOWPSTJxIFaEYCcAYBAbzv62DPAUH9hYXZ3jSvfI/edit#gid=972172818

Hello Everyone :)
We filed our application in August 2015

Got our SA Approval email last week. :) :) :) Files transferred to Hong Kong office.

Last week, when I click into PR side, there are only two lines. One is Application received, the other one is Medical results received.

Today When I check the Ecas again, one more line has been added to the PR Side. " We started processing your application"

We are stilling waiting for AOR2.

Does this mean that the Hong Kong office has received our application and started processing?

Thanks!

Yes, means it was received and filed into their system.

You are welcome. You can also track the status of other HK applications and add your info here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eOaxOWPSTJxIFaEYCcAYBAbzv62DPAUH9hYXZ3jSvfI/edit#gid=972172818

Hi all HKers ,

I m currently in Canada due to my husband's job relocation, i came to Vancouver when i was 4th months pregnant and baby was born on early Sept with MSP covered. ( thank god! )

Just did the medical exam in Vancouver and haven't receive the request of Police criminal record.

Does anyone know how long i need to wait ? ( As I wanna learn driving badly -_-)

p.s. Remember to learn driving in HK before coming...... ::)

We need to know more about your timeline before we can answer. For example, my police request didn't come up until 8 months after my application is submitted.

Also, how did you get pregnancy covered on visitor visa? I am confused of your status in Canada. You should be able to drive with you HK drivers licence if you are here for the initial 6 months, afterwards, you can apply for a BC Drivers Licences if you past the 6 month period (dependent on your visitor record expiry date), or you can apply early if you can prove your visitor record expiry is longer than 6 months.
Thanks

I just got DM!! I have been IP since Aug 13. HKVO requested re-med and HK police certificate on the same date. I re did medical in the same week as well as submitting the application for HK police certificate via courier to HK Police. HK police sent the police cert to HKVO in mid-Sep. I haven't received PPR email yet.

PPR is normally sent to the applicant via email, right?
