Congrats! Finally the HK forum is moving - good to see that March getting more and more DMs.

So, as mentioned before that I contacted my MP regarding my husband's PR application last week. Today, we received an email from MP office:

After making an inquiry to CIC, we received the following information:

“The sponsorship was approved on 24 Feb 2015 and it was forwarded to the visa office in Hong Kong for process. A positive decision was made on 13 Aug 2015. He passed the medical exam and the results are valid till 25 Aug 2016. The police certificate was received and it is pending background checks. The processing time in Hong Kong is 11 months and it is still within the processing timeframes. The file is close to completion and the client should wait further instructions. He will be contacted if anything else is required or if a decision is made.”

Now we know HKVO did receive 2nd medical result. The waiting game is killing me. I will leave for HK in 3 weeks and come back to Vancouver with my husband...we plan to spend Christmas here together this year!

Congratulations! I hope all 2014 applicants will receive good news soon!

Received my CORP today! Though there is a small error. I told HKVO that we're married and have a daughter, but on the CORP it says common law and no dependents. Don't know if that's an issue.

Thank you! I am asking because we are still waiting on AOR2. We have never heard from HKVO and we never received a UCI for the applicant. :(

Yes, you should do that. You can order physical notes if you want to make sure all your documents received in HKVO intact, you would see a HK stamp on your applications form if it reached HK. Or you can order electronic files and see the current status of your application.

We have similar experience, except we applied 2014,Sep, redo medical request in May then notarized police certificate and travel history request in mid august 2015. We inquired two weeks ago about updates, cic only replied with ""under the review,be contacted if anything else is required or if a decision is made" no idea how much longer to wait. We will ask for MP help early Nov......

Hello Everyone, I have a question that I would appreciate some comments on

MY ecas turn IP on October 9th, It seems a lot of peoples e-cas turn IP that same date. below is my time line

Application received Nov 28th 2014
We have started processing your application March 2nd 2015
Medical Received.

Now, My medical expired on Oct 18 , I haven't gotten any re medical request. Eligibility on my last ecas I order Sept 19 show that eligibility is IN PROCESS on the 23/7/2015.
Though i have just order a new GSCM, But before it comes, Can you please evaluate my timeline and tell me what you think in regards to interview .
I sent an updated IMM8 form after there was a mistake in the first form, I told them of the mistake and they requested for the updated IMM8, that is the only contact since AOR2.
So friends what do you think of my timeline?

Hello David9245,

I am also a November 2014 applicant and submitted my application on Nov 26th 2014.

To determine if interview is waived or not, you have to check your GSCM notes -- the eligibility section. If eligibility is updated to PASSED, then most likely interview is waived. When did you order your 2nd set of notes? I ordered mine on Oct 1st and just received today.

ECAS lines as follows:

We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on June 8, 2015.
We started processing your application on May 27, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

Not sure when they will send me the PPR letter (hopefully). Someone received it in 1-2 days, while someone waited 15 - 20 days for it...
