Hi vanhk, would you please add your timeline in the spreadsheet? We really need more applicants to join so everyone can know better to analyze their cases!

thank you!

I already did~ and I feel sad :(

Does anybody know how long it takes from "in process" to "decision made"? How long it takes to get the CoPR? Thanks!

It's seem that many people got IP recently regardless their categories.

Thanks for sharing your timeline!! I think you can contact the MP in your area about the situation, and they will contact CIC tracking your case then report back, there's a case that the applicant's status remains application received for a while then she contacted the MP and got the result it's actually in process but the eCAS hasn't updated.

You may see this thread on this forum (家園論壇) http://forum.iask.ca/threads/%E3%80%90%E6%9C%80%E6%96%B0%E8%BF%9B%E5%BA%A6%E8%A1%A8%E3%80%912015%E5%B9%B405%E6%9C%88-2012%E5%B9%B47%E6%9C%88%E8%BF%9B%E5%BA%A6%E8%A1%A8%EF%BC%9B%E5%90%8C%E5%AD%A6%E4%BB%AC%E9%83%BD%E6%9D%A5%E8%B7%9F%E5%B8%96%E6%9B%B4%E6%96%B0%E8%BF%9B%E5%BA%A6.639890/page-473

Ian C. the application was received by CIC on November 12, 2014. Medical results were received shortly after (maybe a month after). I don't have exact dates for the following, my wife received an e-mail about getting the police certificates so she went to the police station and got a receipt number for that. The files were confirmed sent in mid-april. They started processing the application on June 26, 2015, then on 7th of July, my wife received an e-mail requesting two things, one of which was the police certificates, my wife sent the other piece of info and a letter including the receipt number from the police station after calling them to re-confirm that it was sent in April... That is where we are right now, waiting...

In my ECAS the status for Applicant changed today to show "In Process" but my wife has not yet received her AOR2. I updated this on the spreadsheet.

hello guys,

one question, if I have been living in Canada for 4 years ( never leave more than a month), do I need to provide a police certification for the period in Canada?

of course, I have provide one for for the time in China.

Yes, but it could be a new meaning to "In Process". This remains to be seen. A little above on this page Patrick Lam said many seem to be getting IP recently regardless of their category. Several in my month of May 2015 forum too. No AOR2 letter received yet and we expect to be required to send things to CIC in response to that letter.

Same thing happens to some June applicants as well, the thing in common is no one has got AOR2 and the eCAS changed to IP, not sure that's the system oversight or else, only time can tell.

My wife got her AOR2 email today, a day after ECAS changed to "In Process".

In the 2014-2015 Hong Kong Timeline Spreadsheet I noticed that columns GIJNOPU and X did not have their formulas copied and pasted for most people. I did it for myself only instead of all just in case someone got upset at me for making general changes to the spreadsheet.

applicated recieved Sep 26, 2014
file transferred to HK visa office May 27, 2015
medical done in Jun 2015
Police certificate request Jul 2015
PPR Aug 4, 2015

This is for sponsoring my parents. I paid the RPRF when they requested additional doc before they transfer my file. I have an email confirmated from HK office saying that it was paid, so i don't think i need to submit another copy of the receipt?

Now i have to submit passports within 30days, but i have a problem since my mom is here with me (super visa) and my dad is still in HK, i am not sure how can i submit their passport in one package.

Also the letter indicated that i can submit "pdf" copies of their passport, does it mean photocopies? So i should make a copy of my mom's passport and courier to HK and tell my dad to courier his copies along to the HK office?

pdf copy means you scan the passport and save the file in pdf format.

I got the passport request letter recently too and was confused where or how do I submit the pdf of the passport. By email or upload or what? Anybody knows?

Just checked my eCAS that it changed to "in process" finally. That's cool....can't wait...

Congrat Bukeluke!

I have a question, my med expired in July, but I still haven't heard anything from them (other than ecas showing Med Received). Should I redo the med now (am I allowed to?) or wait for their request to re do med?

Thanks!

My wife got Hong Kong AOR2 email today. It mentions asking for a new Medical if a medical was not done before or if the medical done before will be expire within 4 months of this date. So this applies to you. I think wait until you get the AOR2 letter or some contact from CIC so the new medical will be up to date and valid for a year. You would be allowed to do another medical now, just as you were allowed to do a medical before even sending in the sponsorship application, but then you might not really know if CIC received it unless ECAS changes to say something like new medical received.

Thanks for your reply. The medical expired was my first medical done in July 2014 (expired last month), i haven't redo my medical yet. I got AOR2 in Mar 30, 2015, and back then my med wasn't expired yet so they didn't suggest me to redo it. So I guess I should redo it this week? Will the med office forward it to CIC automatically? After redoing my med, Do I need to mail/ email to CIC telling them I have re done my med?
