Hi Ian

Are you preparing your B4 form?

LN9714

I am wondering if we made a mistake with one of the forms my wife was asked to update by HKVO. Please advise.

In Schedule A, form IMM 5669, it asks for my wife's personal history from the more recent of age 18 or the lasr 10 years. The last 10 years applied in her case.

In the AOR2 letter she was asked to update some forms where applicable. For form IMM 5669 they asked for history since the age of 18. We didn't notice that the last 10 years part was missing this time and so she did not include this form as we thought no change. So should my wife now send a new form which includes all history from age 18 instead of just the last 10 years?

I think it should be fine - you suppose to be compliant with the initial application package/process which says last 10 years. Honestly, for ...If you are in doubt though, why don't you shoot them a case specific inquiry?

We could, but it takes about one month for a reply if they want to reply. And this would take us past the thirty days that they wanted us to reply with the required updates and one passport size photo. They got the couriered package 2 days ago. Just trying to decide if courier another form with the extra history from age 18 or leave it as is with just the last 10 years.

If you are so concerned about it, i would just send a new form to clear any doubts and be able to wait in peace.

Yeah, I think I'll draft a cover letter for my wife to send with an updated form. She loses sleep on the details so the extra cost of another courier is probably worth it.

For all Jan - Apr 2015 appliants, could you check if your case is in IP status? It looks like all app recevied after May 2015 and completed SA are showing IP with the data similar to SA date. I sent mine in March 2015, SA in May, AOR2 in June, but still shows "app received". Just want to confirm if any Jan - Apr 2015 appliants' status have changed to IP, just like the after-may 2015 applicants.

My application was in Jan and it is still in application received. Do you think the May applicant status is working the same way as ours?

There is a applicant who sent the app at the end of May and got IP right after SA. So maybe CIC started this at the end of May.

I doubt their IP means the same as the former applicants', just take a look at the 2015 outland spreadsheet, there were many of the applicants from May and after have changed their status to IP after SA from different VO. The link is in my signature, you may take a look.

I agree. Maybe the new method CIC is implementing.

I just saw a Dec.23 2014 applicant got his DM without eCAS changed to IP........ who the heck knows how many applicants' status are actually IP but eCAS still shows application received, HKVO please stop slacking off updating eCAS.

I dont really understand how cic works to be honest with you.
Some people need 1-1.5 months to change from IP to DM whereas some people need only 5 days.
It seems like most people get their request for police clearance or medical exam on the same day or couple days after they have got IP.
I also went to other immigration forums, and found out many other applicants who applied in the late Dec have already DM.

Sometimes, i feel so frustrated. :(
